    Mark Bauman

    Mark Bauman supports global defense and security companies’ ability to field new and innovative solutions to unique customer demands. Mark was previously the vice president global growth for Insitu Inc., the world’s leading small unmanned air system (UAS) provider where he led the development, implementation, and delivery of the ScanEagle and Integrator UAS that have flown over 1.3M operational hours around the world. Mark was responsible for the enterprise strategy, business development, and marketing divisions and was previously based at Boeing Aerospace Middle East Ltd. (BAMEL) office in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where he supported the growing Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) customers and their unique UAS and Counter-UAS requirements.

    Prior to joining Insitu, Mark was a Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP within their Advisory Line of Service. He held several leadership positions within the Washington Federal Practice, where he led a variety of large-scale programs for the firm across multiple federal agencies. Mark finished his time at PwC as the Program Director for the firm’s Advisory Alliances and Channels strategy and operations organization which drove over $600M in annual revenue for the firm.

    Mark began his career in the U.S. Air Force as an acquisition officer, where he oversaw a number of domestic and international programs. Mark focused his teams' efforts on meeting warfighter needs and managed several foreign military sales cases valued at more than $3.6 billion. He also directed a number of high-priority programs within the air, space, and command and control domains, integrating capabilities for our nation’s most strategic allies. Mark holds a Master of Arts degree from The George Washington University, a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy, is a DAWIA-Certified Level III Program Manager via the Defense Acquisition University, and a certified Scrum Master through the Agile Scrum Alliance.
