Steve Finder
Steve Finder gained operational experience leading teams in Human Resources and other leadership roles within Apple, SpaceX, Pimco and Heidrick & Struggles before joining Focus Search where he oversees the firm's global defense technology, deep technology, and space technology, strategy and executive search practice. Focus Search Partners is the retained executive search division of Vaco, a $1.3 billion global professional services firm.
In his role, Steve oversees both strategic consulting and executive search engagements for leading clients across the defense tech, deep tech and space industries. He specializes in identifying and recruiting top talent for critical executive positions such as CEO, board director, CFO, and heads of engineering, sales, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, HR, and operations.
Previously, Steve led talent acquisition for SpaceX, he led operations and sales recruiting for Apple, was on the executive advisory board for a 20,000 person company and led the associates for Heidrick & Struggles in Silicon Valley. Earlier Steve co-founded a technology based executive search firm in San Francisco and Boston.
